Picked up a 01 CRV today. SUPER stoked...5spd and tafetta white...the exact scheme i was looking for with some extra goodies as well if you can notice. Came with 4 sets of shoes, 3 with tires! Some other stuff as well that will be on the V soon enough. Glad to have something I can drive my son around in and feel a little more comfortable dumping some cash into

I also sold my wagon in a record 3 days hahaha. Meeting up with the wagon's buyer on Saturday to exchange moneys and the second half of the car's price...

anyways, onto the pics. Will update as soon as I get some daylight.

    hahaha. yeah the acura wheels look nice and the BBS RS knockoffs will be nice in the summer. Just wish I could find a 5th for a full size spare haha

    How does it compare to a wagon in terms of interior room?

    I've been eyeing a first gen CRV or a first gen Odyssey for a cheap family vehicle.

    Nah, no more pics yet. Soon though...as far as my plans, I'm just going to drive it and keep it clean for now. I might pick up a spare motor on the side and build it back to stock, as well as the spare trans I have, but it's going to stay relatively mild since it's my daily for hauling around my son/dog.

    As far as interior space it's baically like a wagon with about 10" of extra height...seats fold down exactly the same and there's about the same amount of space. Perfect for hauling around drums

    Ive been looking at a first gen CRV (99) that a buddy of mine should be able to sell me for stupid cheap. Its poo poo brown and dosent come with any of the tastey OEM goodies yours has. Yours Looks very nice.

    Plans?

    If I actually pick one up, EMU lift springs/Fogs/Skid plate will all be on the list. Your looks low, whats on it suspension wise?

    it's got stock suspension with upgraded springs that were cut (ugh) but apparently they were heavy duty springs...its not very bouncy at all so i'm not worried about it yet. i'd like to just install my CB, mount the wing I have for it and just enjoy it before nerding out on it too much...i've been thinking about hooking it up with some S2000 wheels (all fronts or all rears...whatever looks best) but it's got 3 sets of shoes with tires so it seems kinda pointless. I also like the 07 civic SI wheels on em, but the wheels it has are great I think...I just would like to get something a little more flush for summer time pimp action. maybe a set of 16x8 or 16x9 diamond racing steelies haha

    I just got done doing the 5 lug convertion on my wagon, ive been looking for the 2003 cl wheels like the ones on your crv. They look like 5 lug 2000 Civic Si wheels

    yeah dude i'm pretty stoked about the wheels and extras i got with the car (fullmark rear hatch, minidisc/cd Gathers head unit, jdm wheel and stock wing)

    also 5x114.3 is probably the BEST bolt pattern for awesome wheels since the 240sx kids are such wheel whores hahaha

    You also have quite an array oh OEM Honda wheels in that lug pattern as well, if you so choose.

    yeah, im not as big a fan of the OEM wheels. the acura ones are pretty cool, but i'm more into finding some 16x8's in a decent low offset for summertime radness. the 16x7's are OK for now though...will probably try to find something similar to them though. i have the biggest soft spot for meshies

    it's actually not a whole lot roomier as far as hauling crap around goes. shot some pics today with my buddy who harassed me out of my old wheels hahaha

    How about you look at the last time he posted in this thread. Dec 2010 he also hasn't visited this forum since Jan 2011.
