1991 Civic Si - Low mileage Gem

Wagonist
Hi Im new here. Always looking for EF forums in search of rare parts to buy.
Found this place by chance..
Anyways, Im the proud owner of 2 EF's. 1 CRX and 1 Civic.
Here's pics of my civic. Im sure some of you have seen it before.
STORY:
Recently in October 2009, I managed to finally buy a really clean 1991 civic si.
I had been haggling with the owner since January 2009...
There were only 2 previous owners, with the 2nd owner only keeping the car for 2 years and putting less than 5,000 kms on the car.
Believe it or not, the original owner was a gentlemen here named Bill Gardiner of Motoring TV television show on TSN here in Canada. I managed to get a hold of him through email right after I bought the car. He told me it was never winter driven, stored in heated garage every winter, and had no body or paint work. He used it for long trips to his cottage in Ontario Canada and Florida as well. Most of the time it sat in his mechanics shop covered.
The second owner who bought it in 2007 only put 5,000 kms in 2 years.
The car is in amazing condition ! It currently has 108,000 kms or 66,000 miles.
Mechanically it's all original including the original 19 year old Honda muffler !
I had sent the shows host some pics of the car in its current state, for an episode of the TV Show Motoring TV here in Canada. Heres the clip via Youtube.

NEW HKS EXHAUST:
Well I finished my engine bay detail.. took about 4 days total.
I used WD-40 and a paintbrush and 4 microfiber towels.
Works amazing on 20 year old buildup of dirt and rustproofing. No joke.
Car had been sitting for 10+ years.. Buildup of rustproofing and dust on it takes its toll.

heres some goodies I have for it as well:

How many sites do you have to post this on before you feel good enough about what you paid for this car?
sorry ot. but i see you have those wheel dollys, how is it to move the car with them?
easy?
Yeah, I know. But I have seen your story there in the EF forum.
Here is my virgin 89 Si Hatch ( with EP3 Si Wheels )
and my other 89 Dx ( my daily driver ) Almost all stock.
Always looking for parts for ef's.. and to see some nice EF wagons.
Why are you here ?
DRMORTY, your ef's are so nice ! I love that OEMness of them !
Those arent my wheel dollies.. previous owner had the car stored on those in his garage.
Thanks Man.. I am all about EFs and OEM Goodness..
But I play as well.
I also have my toys:
- 91 CRX show car with hydraulics and a b16a and a lot of stereo & TVs
- 91 Wagon - Project ( D16 Vtech w/ Jackson Supercharger and a whole lot of darkness )
- 90 Wagon soon to be trailer for towing behind the wagon.
& some parts cars
& more EF parts than I'll ever be able to use.
I even have a Pink Integra DA Mini-stock Race car..
Another good site is TampaRacing
Mine is..
Original 20 year old muffler was rattling inside.. no need to keep it around.
No room for storage either...lol
I did keep the stainless steel tip though.
I put on the old 5 star wheels frommy old civic
I have the stock exhaust on my Si, with tips. I wanted to find another one for my wagon..
Looks Lowered, Did you lower it? And that is a even different exhaust system? Painted mirrors?
You make me really want to detail my engine bay.
It has skunk2 sleeves on stock shocks, for now. So it s abit lower. Came like this when I bought it.I have the original springs stored in the box.
Its got an HKS Sport cat back exhaust. Got a great deal on it in the spring. Drove down to Buffalo, NY to buy and install it at www.innovativetuning.com
In Canada, the 1990-1991 civic/crx door handles and mirrors come painted from factory, only on Si models.
the girl i was dating back in the day let me drive hers all the time. even when we stop dating.
thats clean and sexy. can i take her for a drive?lol
you should find a wagon.
KNOT 4 SAIL.
Great job also on the cleaning.
