How can I buy a wagon out of state without going there?

I have searched a lot and found one in out of state.
However, I am in PA and the wagon is in OR.

Is there any way to buy it without flying there?
I am willing to spend transport fee tho.
thanks

Get a tow service to take it to you.

    I can arrange transport service.

However, if I am not gonna be there, how can I sign on the title?

How can I believe the seller send the wagon after I sent money to him?

    Thanks

The big prob of buying like this is trusting a garage to give it a once over for probs.Even with digital pics you can't tell if the Wgn is full of door dings & so-so paint. It'll cost over $800 to transport.

    Possible solutions:
    1) AAA use to offer a service to check the mechanics of the Wgn.I don't know if they still do.
2)Have them sell it to you through Ebay if they are in good standing. The prob are the fees.
Ebay use to offer a service to check the Wgn., but I read of a Ebayer that still got burned.I think of 'cuz the one Ebay subservive was bad.
3)If you're lucky maybe one our members knows a trusted garage in the area that can check it.We have a few memebers in OR,but are they close enough?
  • There has to be a wagon closer to where you live. Right?
  • Ive bought 3 cars clear across the country and what I have done is established good communication with the seller, lots of questions and pics. If they aren't willing to communicate/give off a strange vibe then it's a clear sign for me to look elsewhere. All 3 times I have flown to the car and driven it back. But you have to keep in mind that your ideas of the car may be different than what its really like when you see it in person. Flying there and driving back can be cheaper or about the same price but its a lot more fun than having it delivered to you!
  • which car is it? im in portland oregon and i'd be willing to drive a fair distance to check it out for you.
