Adjusting the idle on my 86 wagon

New wagon owner/new member here.
i just picked up my first car and i bought it out of impulse because i love the look.
and it seemed to run fine when i test drove it.
its an auto :[
on my way home i noticed that when the car is in drive it cant hold its idle because it sits at 300rpms. when i shift it to park it holds at about 500. just barley keeping it alive.
i'm pretty new to working on cars so i looked up how to adjust it and i couldnt find my throttle cable or anything.
i took off the cover and this is what it looks like.

how many times do you normally pump it before cranking it ?

my 86 wagon is my first carb'd car and its a big change from the 88 wagon where i just jump in and go
i usually have to pump 3 or four times then crank - sometimes ill have to crank for like 15 seconds before she catches, that is if she wants to catch that day !!

i cant wait till my new weber carb gets here in a few days. then i'm going to drop kick that rusty old ass carb down the block ! or just rebuild it and put it next to the spare tire just in case....
