You would be better off with a H2B kit using a AWD CRV transmission.

why u say that? if the t-case on the RT tranny can clear with only having to maybe clearence the h22's oil pan then i see no big gain from using the CRV trans. ive wanted someone to do this for years with either an F or H cuz ive never gotten a straight answer if its gunna work with the tranfercase....... good luck my friend please post pics.

Better tranny, replacement parts available, kits already made for an easy swap. Its been done in many crv's.

Only downside would be having to spend more, but in the long run it will be worth it.

Heck with machine work getting the rt4wd tranny to mate, it may be cheaper with the h2b kit and crv trans.

K.I.S.S. Keep It Simple Stupid thats what i try to do. show me a kit that puts a CRV tranny into an EF..... need to custom build a pass. side mount then some sort of hydro swap.... I didnt say machine i said clearance maybe shave a lil off like the RT oil pans are already. I'd put my money on RT drive train holding up better then the CRV stuff I've seen them side by side and they definetly were trying to save weight with the CRV.
