Head decking/shaving

does anyone know about how much metal can be shaved from the head in a d15b while still remaining functional? had someone tell me that the mating surfaces on the heads are unusually thin. not sure if i believe that information. thanks

as long as u dont go more than 20 thousandths youll be fine.
