    Actually lifting the hood like that will increase airflow at around 50km/h but anything above will be severely decreased.

    Exactly my point... over 50KM/h there will be a slight vacuum meaning your ITB's won't be fed enough air. Feel free to correct me if i'm wrong but i understand that its not a very good idea.. Just putting that out there.

    Never had a problem before on the other cars i built
  • All my cars have the same spacers in them also. I raised the rear of the hood about an inch and a half to give the heat somewhere to go beside sitting under the hood.

    Maybe a stupid theory but I haven't had any problems with the setup on any of my turbo cars nor the wagons. Then again I ain't running any sweet itb setups either.
