how much did it cost to have your interior redone? I am thinking about having mine redone and am curious. Did they redo the door panels to match?

    The only one I know off the top of my head is the NJCivic boys. I think everybody else is just swapping seats out.

    I did custom covers just in case I ever get my hands on a good drivers seat I can go back origional.

    Reason peeps don't do it 'cuz it'$$$$ Door panels can be done.NJCivic boys had a buddy do it(in leather).They can probably give you a idea of cost.I went to a tailor to have a jacket (unlined)taken in & sleeves narrowed.They wanted $50.I went to a upholsterer to have a couch recovered...$8OO.ouch!That should give you a idea of co$t.

    Door panel:If just doing the cloth part.You might be able to do it with some DIY internet tutorials .The vinyl part is another story.

    Front seat:Just the time & detail to R&R the OEM with OEM cover is easy,BUT takes a lot of time.I never realize how many hook rings there were.

    Least expensive way will be to dismantle all the covers(stitch & all).Cut your own patterns from the originals.Find a lady friend with A heavy duty sewing machine to sew it all together.

    Thanks for the replies guys. I was just wondering is all. I would like to do something eventually. I was reading about the 2nd gen teg seat swap and that seems nice too.

    i may be doing my own reupholstering here soon, if i can get my lazy ass to do so. i'll see about doing a DIY thread on it. door cards seem easy, i plan on doing them in leather. i just need to buy the leather lol

    i am pretty sure my upholstery was re-done before i bought my car, not sure of what the cost was though sorry..

    I remember thinking when I looked at it at Import Alliance that it was the only Wagovan I'd ever seen with cloth seats. Nice job, too.
