Went down to jump start the old CRX today. Had it stored away for a few months and the battery went down. What started out as a simple jump turned into a fun little photo shoot. Wish I had more than my iPhone.
Gave the Wagon a fresh oil change today and vaccumed it out. Hoping for some winter weather in the NC tonight. Fun in the dark photos when I took my son to boy scouts this evening!
Made it myself. Just cut and drilled a piece of alumnium to size. Then I printed off the logo on sticker paper. Cut the logo out with an exacto knife, applied to alumnium, spray painted black and removed sticker when dry. Vola!
Working for Honda has proven to be awesome! Not only do I love my Job, I get to order my parts from work.
Ordered these a few days ago. Pick them up at work a few days later
OEM water pump and Timing Belt.
Starting Friday, I have 12 days off for Christmas. Thought it'd be a good time to knock this job out.
For those curious about part #'s

WP Gasket: I'll have to look, will add later.
Was driving throughout downtown today doing some Christmas shopping. Turned down an alley and it lead me here so I jumped out for an inpromptu photo shoot. The old cobblestone streets were awesome! That is the old RJR tobacco plant in the background. Over 100 years old. Welcome to Winston-Salem - Built on the tobacco industry & home to Camel, Winston, Salem and many other brands known around the world.
Awesome Pics! I couldnt imagine laying that intricate pattern in the road 100+ years ago. Nice find! Hope your Timing belt/water pump exchange goes smooth.
Merry Xmas and Happy New Year.
Got to go work on the timing belt project over the past couple of days. My bud's friend owns a shop and he was shut down over Christmas break. He said we could go over and use it. Man, I'm spoiled having access to a lift now. It made life wonderful!
got the timing belt, water pump, Valve cover gaskets, spark plugs, & PCV valve all done. Took two days, but it was nice not being in a rush and having a safe place to leave the wagon locked up while torn down. It was also nice to be able to get under and inspect everything. Looks pretty solid. I have a torn boot on the steering rack that needs attention, and an upper ball joint theta needs replacing. I'll get to those soon. For now, I'm good to go for another 100K!
Very Sweet. Nice Work! Having a secure place indoors, def make a huuuuge diff. A lift is just the cherry on top. I hope to own a max jax brand lift one day!
Guess everything went smooth with my timing belt job. I loaded the family up and headed up to the mountains for two days for a test run. My parents just moved into their new cabin so had to go check it out! Wagon did great.
Here I am at the Historic Mast General store. Est 1883, this building has been around a while. I used to go there as a kid, now I can take my own kids there. back in the early 1900's my great grandmother made quilts and sold them there. I have lots of family history in the NC mountains. It is a great getaway.
Contacted Prennro and had him make this custom high mileage decal to commemorate my mark.
Wagon is filthy from all the snow, but I couldn't wait to put it on!
