Speedometer cable question

i have a 91 wd wagon. the speedo cable broke. honda has discontinued them. the cable im refering to is the one that goes into the tranny and right into the cluster. it spins the mph side of the gauges

is there any where else i can get a new one?

will any other civic model work with this car?

    I know you can find them through a google search.

    It seems to me that a cable from another model might work. But I don't know this for sure.

    I dunno. I just searched through the wagon and crx parts list at majestic and I have no answers. Sorry man.

    I ran into the same situation when the speedo cable on my girls wagon broke. I picked up the hatchback version at my local Honda dealership and it fits perfect. Same exact length and everything.

    Girls wagon is a 91 2WD. The hatchback cable was the same year but don't recall if it was DX or SI. I dont think there's a difference between them.

    does anyone have the length measurement of the si crx or hatch version?

    i know that the one we have is 38 inches in length.

    Does work, I'm running an ef civic si speedo cable, DX work as well, don't know about the hf cable though...

    what model and year is your wagon?
    what year and model civic are you using for you speedo cable?

    im just concerned that the 4wd might be different length than the 2wd wagons. because from what i have seen the 2wd wagons setup almost mirrors most civic with the same year whereas the 4wd is mostly on its own.
