Can't decide which swap?

Hey everyone got a 91 RT4WD wagon with a d16a6 engine, my dilemma is that i want a little more horse power but in a budget. Well my question is should i just swap the head with a d16z6 or buy the whole d16z6 or single cam zc? Please any suggestions would help thanks

    It's all pretty much the same thing, is it not?

    I have a D16Y8 head on the stock bottom end.

    Keep an eye on craigslist. I've gotten z6's w/ trans for $150.

    If you want a swap where you can just drop and go. Put a dohc zc in the car you won't have to wire anything except the cam sensor. I would say probably the easiest one.

    what you want to do is buy some p29 pistons and a y8 head so your compression would be 12.23:1.

    you would really notice some performance then.
