Dash question

im about to start working on my wagon shell i noticed that my dash is cracked by the glove compartment....can i swap dashes with any ef hatchback with no problem?...its hard for me to find wagons in chicago junkyards even harder to find them in blue

Yes a CRX dash will fit.THere several threads on dash swaps.I've even seen a RSX dash into Civic swap.

oh i know most dash swaps but this is my first wagon....i dont know much about...i figured since the front end is shorter maybe the dash wouldnt fit.....i dont really want to modify that why i was wondering if they were direct bolt on..

actually now that im looking at it...it looks like an ef sedan dash...than they all must fit...nice!

I've always thought an EG dash would make the wagon look a little cleaner and not so old looking.

They all 'fit'

But they all don't bolt in.

I agree with these guys, if you dont know about fabrication dont swap your dash. Buy a dash mat for $55 and out of sight out of mind.
