Newb ? im sorry but might have bad info d15b in RT?

okay some guy im talking to about possibly trading my blue FWD wagon too is offering me a d15b i belive its one of the jdm vtec ones kid claims it smashes..... anyways did they come with the mounting point for the half shaft? i asked him and he quickly said yes..... which leads me to think he is just trying to get me to do the deal. to be honost i dont realy want it and im most likely no gunna do the deal but i was just curious sorry for the newb question but i think i got bad info from the trader.....

    No, mine didn't have even the landing.

    I would ask for a pic of the back to be sure. You may find there are different variants - the D15B didn't have the additional number in the JDM (for the most part) so you have to make sure you have the right motor. If you're going for speed then you want the D15B out of a 92-95 EG4 VTi, if you're going for economy then you want the 96-00 EK4 VTi motor as it is VTEC-E.

    There are so many JDM "d15b"s that you need to follow it with some pics or a detailed description.

    Anyway, yes, the D15b rips over the 1.6s. Not so much power-wise... it's too small a difference. But the D15b revs easy and has a better rod/stroke ratio.

    OMG well i was kinda in the area so i met up with the kid and it was about the most pathetic show ive ever seen. kid shows up with his mom and lil sister, pops the hatch on some ghetto ass jeep to show me a greasy d15 "it smashes on sti's and b16's" he says i look closer and its nothing but a DX motor u find in any 88-91 civic...... he has some HX wheels with good tires, un known indash yada yada yada. then tried to gilt trip me into the trade by saying he has a kid and he needs the car to get him around..... made my week.

    all jokes aside i kinda feel for the kid but nothing in life is free it isnt like he is just looking for a cheap runner i am asking $1500 for the car and i would go a lot lower but he seriously wants to trade me what i feel like is about $300-$400 for my car..... i told him some cash on top of his stuff and i might do it but i would prolly want about $800 and i bet he is thinkin like maybe $200...... today he tried to offer me the bucket ass cherokee he showed in why not just drive your kid in that thing?
