So i just bought a(K20z3)

K20z3 with a type s tranny and a good bit of the swap parts.
It will not be in the car for a while now because I am not done shaving the bay and tucking the brake lines. Once that along with everything but the body re-painted it will be good to go.
I am going to leave the k20z3 as it is in stock form because with i/e on the z3 it can be into the 210-220 hp range.
I might do a 6 point cage but I am debating with myself on that one.

You need to get a 2002-up CRV or Element AWD transmission to go with that! Can you say RWD K series? Congrats on the acquisition, whatever direction you pick to go with it.

my buddy has a z3 is his 03 si running a stock rsx type s ECU it rips! its crazy that u can get an I/H/E, k pro and make well over 200whp.... should be lots of fun cant wait to see her running!
  • The Z3 is supposed to really have more power than the k20a2 but the SAE standards change for the hp testing when the '06 si came around. They also have the best flowing head.

    and the most desired IM.
  • Sadly I can not use the RBC manifold with a EE/EF chassis. I would have to cut the hood. :(

dam that sucks but now that i think about it my buddy had to some some trimming on his EP3's core support to make her fit.

I want a k swapped car so bad but i think to myself by the time i do the swap i could have a healthy down payment on a 5 speed 4wd element.....
  • If I still had my Fit I would be putting the k20 in it instead. Funny thing is after this is done I am going to try and get a Si sedan, so I will be rolling with two k20z3's.
  • This is exciting. I'm in for the long haul!
