Question regarding 1983 civic wagons

Found one for sale in my local area, and thinking about jumping on it, the seller says it needs a distributor. I hate buying cars that aren't running...Unless I have other plans, of course. I was wondering, how hard would it be to swap in a d or b series into the car? Does anyone know anything about these cars as to whats compatible and what needs to be changed etc?

    you'll need to build a axle for the long side, custom wiring/engine mounts/shifter assy/inline or intank pump/new fuel lines.. pretty much everything!
