Afi Street Series Kit on Theee Wagon

so recently i purchased AFI'S street series turbo kit which idk if you have seen is a very nice kit and is the best bang for the buck IMO. My question is this intercooler is thick and backdoor style . if you look at the measurements
AFI Tubular 304 ss Ramhorn manifold
AFI 3" 304 ss down pipe with stainless braided flex and O2 bung
AFI DIY dump tube kit
AFI/Garrett 26X6.5X3.5 Back door intercooler
AFI 2.5" mandrel bent and bead rolled black texture powder coated charge piping
Garrett T3/TO4E Turbocharger- .57 trim
Tial 38mm Waste gate
Tial 50mm Blow Off Valve
PWR 4 ply silicone couplers
AFI Braided Stainless Teflon oil line kit
T-Bolt clamps
Billet fittings and turbo oil drain kit
All Misc. Hardware and Gaskets

you can tell its a wide motha. so back to topic. how to make this badboy look good without cuttin the shit outta my bumper. i alread cut into to it and it doesnt look that good. now i alread bought another bumper just cause of this being that incase i decided to go another route id have a brand new bumper to toss on there. possible solutions i had where maybe doing another front bumper say ef hatch or sedan, possibly a jdm conversion if the bumper gives me the clearance. lemme and on one more question if i do the jdm conversion bumper and what not what is it that i need just bumper support and bumper or more than that i breezed some topics on it and didnt find a definite answer. well your info will be greatly appreciated ill be updated my post in members rides and on this topic with pics hopefully tonight.

  • Awsome man!! Can't wait to see it together... intercooler, hmmm, yea don't think its going to fit well with any oem bumper without hacking it up. I had to trim a little off my Mugen knock off, although you can't see where I did... Good luck though 8)

Good lawd that IC is huge!

That is a great deal on the kit though, and the quality looks good. I looked around on H-T and couldn't find a bad word about AFI. I'm really thinking about getting this kit as well. Once you get everything installed let us know how you did it and take some pics!
