Swap please help

i have an 89 2wd that i pulled the engine out of and im trying to put in a 93 jdm d15b obd1 with a p08 ecu.
my problem is the wiring. i cant find diagrams for eather car at least not the correct ones. the other thing is do i need a resister box for the injectors seeing as im going obd1. should i just use the d15b's harness or make the stock one work

You'll need to modify the stock harness using parts from the OBD1 harness. Google " MPFI swap" and you'll find several good how-tos. If you use the obd1 injectors, no, you won't need the resistor.

    Check our engine quicklinks...

thanks for the info on the injectors not needing a resistor bob
every swap i come accross seems like its for obd0 and has the resister box. would i just eleminate it and connect all the yellow and black wires together. and then contenue as normal

If you look on the obd1 harness where the resistor box would be (next to the shock tower plug) you'll see a junction plug for those yellow/black wires, most folks use that.
  • so i finaly did the swap, turned the key and she started right up.
the only thing i still need is a downpipe that will fit the header that came with the d15b
  • i geas what i wont to know is if a d16z6 exhaust will fit the d15b
