Engine wont stay started

well i have a fully rebuilt d15b2 that i just swapped in mt rt4wd(i know downgrade) it was cheap and gets me around but whenm i started it to break in the rings it wouldnt stay started unless i have it half throttle. as soon as it gets to normal operationg temp it just dies?? what in the hell is goin on? i need any help i can get please

    To keep a motor running after you start it requires an idle valve. I'd check that first, sounds like its unplugged or has been miss connected with the vacuum solinoid also on the back of the intake manifold
