84 civic 1500si intake manifold questions

so.....

i am picking up a 1984 civic 1500s hatch for free to use as a parts car for my 86 civic wagon.
i need to replace the intake manifold on my 86 and was wondering if the 84's intake manifold would be a direct replacement? the carb is off the 84 and looking at it today it looks just like the one in mine but i wasn't sure if would have a diff. bolt pattern or some small difference that would make it not work on my wagon....

as a side note: i now have a 1984 civic hatch for parts so if anyone needs anything i would be more then willing to give away ( yes for free :D ) anything anyone might need, it has two hoods and two sets of bumpers and back seats and a lot of trim and etc type pieces. you pay for shipping and its yours! if you wanna buy me a beer thats cool too but not necessary

i do not think bolt patterns would be different. just like all 88-00 SOHC D-series have the same intake/exhaust manifold bolt pattern, etc...

so, it should work, theoretically.

    woot, thanks !

so i got the parts car home the other day ...... ( what a ride..... )

tomorrow we're going to pull the intake manifolds off both and compare.... im thinking it will work. then we're going to try to do that compression test again, we gave up on trying to find the damn spark plug adaptor so were just going to try to get the hose to thread into the hole ( my spark plugs are on the front with like 3in of clearence so getting the hose to thread into the spark plug hole is a lot harder then it should be, i wish they were on the top.... :x )

( if anyone knows where i could find the sparkplug to 1/4 quick connect adaptor that connects to the hose to the gauge PLEASE tell me... hanyes guide said its at any parts store, but its not)
