I browsed around on hondapartsdeals.com a few days ago, and yes they are different. I know not how or where, just that the part number is different.

Why not just go to your local parts house and buy an axle for your specific application? They're like $70 with a warranty.
  • i went to an auto parts store, and when i told the guy around the counter, he apparently missed the fact that i said wagovan 2wd. Well he gave me civic sedan axles and the splines in the spindle are a different size so the axle did not fit. just letting ya know, most likely the 4wd ones are different.

If you searched you would've found an answer to your question already.

You have to get axles for the 4wd wagon, no others will fit. The spline count on the hub is the same for 2wd and 4wd wagons but different from other civics, and the spline count on the 4wd transmission is different than the 2wd wagon tranny. I picked mine up from Kragen awhile back, just make sure they get the 4wd drive one, for around $65 (Front right).

EDIT: SiWagon already answered this question in the other thread you started, there was no need for this thread. Please search or look through the FAQ's and stickies before posting a new thread, odds are if you have problem/question, someone else has had the same one.
