D16z6 wagon wont start HELP!

so i was leaving the beach the other day and i went through some soft sand at about 8-10MPH after i got out of it the car bogged and died and wont start.

ive checked spark, fuel, and all the sensors on the intake manifold and everything seemed fine.

now i dont have a timing belt cover and i think it could have jumped timing due to being slammed through sand.

what do yall think?

    Is your intake pipe plugged with sand?

    well i got it running today :) it jumped timing by like 6-8 teeth but i lucked out no bent valves!

    but right after i got it running the throw out barring went out :cry:
