Need Help With A Head Gasket Parts List

Hi I need to do a head gasket on a friend of mines D16 nonvtec and I was trying to come up with a part list for her, i don't necessarily need prices (would always help if you have them :D ) but what should I do while I do the head gasket.

I need...
- Head Gasket (How much are those)
- Oil
- Coolant
- Thermostat
- Exhaust manifold gasket ?
- Intake manifold gasket ?
- Distributor O-Ring (Do I need to remove the distributor)
and that is pretty much all i know i need to change

Or if you have a link that tells me what I need ill look at it. Usually I would try and research myself but I am really pressed for time can my Honda Wagon Owners come to my rescue lol

    You can purchase all of the gaskets from the head gasket up as a set, just ask for a 'head gasket set'. It'll come with everything for the top half of the engine.

    However, if you're on a budget, you can just buy the head gasket and remove the head with manifolds attached.

    More importantly, how old is the timing belt? Here's what I would do if I were on a tight budget:

    Head gasket $35ish
    Timing belt $40ish
    water pump $30ish
    Thermostat $15?
    Oil, filter, coolant $25

    i would also get the head shaved since its off. it should be only 30-60 but so worth it

    Thanks for the advice guys ima pretty much mix the two. I told her to get that gasket and bolt set and the pulley and timing belt and then i told her to get those few other parts you told her. I would machine the head if it was my car but she prolly wont care? haha up to her im sure she could care less...oh well right...

    If you have the head off why not also do the valve stem seals? Pretty easy to do and easy to access once the head is off.

    i just changed the headgasket on my engine and made the mistake of not shaving the head and ended up doing it twice cause it was the head not the gasket

    hit me up, i some of the items you need like the seals, headgasket, water pump, oil pump, etc.
    hondata intake manifold gasket, reusable. lowers your temp too.
    i think the valve stems i have may even work.

    spark plug wires, ngk. for 91 civic a6 heads
