J's Racing lip?

http://www.jdmshit.com/parts/exterior/EF9lip/

I haven't noticed a definitive lip thread saying yes/no on fitment of this. JDMShuttle said he had a J's racing lip in one of the lip threads but I never saw anything else. I think it would come close to fitting, but im not 100%.

I have both a PFL and FL (EF9) bumper, I also have a FL J's Racing front lip.

The bumpers are the same width but you will have to do some trimming and sanding on the J's Lip to make it sit flush with the bumper otherwise there will be gaps.
So no it is not 100% good fitment without some work

I havnt tried to put the J's Lip on a PFL bumper but I imagine that with some patience and some sandpaper you could make it fit depending on your skills

A buddy of mine has had alot of experience with J's products for his S2000 in the past. He purchased a J's half lip and that thing had some serious gaps. Even if this lip was made for the wagon, I would expect body work in order to eliminate the gaps.

I also remember the J's valve cover he bought, I'm pretty sure my 2 year old could paint with less runs and dirt. LOL That thing was horrible... I couldn't stop laughing. I did feel bad since he spent so much money on it.

The J's engine torque damper I bought for my S2000 did not line up worth a hoot either. I ended up having to zip tie the fuse box mount to the bracket since the hole was so far off.

J's wasn't the only company that was disappointing, I remember the ASM front bumper he bought for his car. All the holes on the top of the bumper that bolt between the headlights had to be redrilled. Other than that... it was great. :-) Oh well, live and learn.

Recently it was discovered that the US rep for J's racing was having replica parts made on the side and then labeling them as J's racing parts. That could explain why your buddy might have gotten jank parts.

I have a lot of J's Racing parts on my Type R and they all fit perfect, Ive also installed a few other J's Parts on friends cars and never had an issue with fitment.

This is my FL bumper with J's Lip

I have to point out it is a custom made lip, modified from a EF8 CRX J's Racing lip to fit a EF9 bumper, but is exactly the same as a genuine one, only with thicker fibreglass

J's racing lip/Password jdm lip fits perfect on ef9 front bumpers... but for the usdm front bumpers u might have to mod it to fit... look at Bisimoto wagon... he got the front lip on, and it'll give u a good idea...

What company was that? We purchased our J's items through Bulletproof Automotive. I've known and worked with Ben and his crew for a long time... I hope it wasn't them.

Wow... that's crazy... A&J were big players for awhile. It's sad to see shady companies like that.

Did you always work at Toko Garage?
