Springs

Alright gotta couple quick ?'s. I have read the thread on suspension. My ? is has anyone used the integra struts and springs and not had to cut off 2 of the coils. If any one has any realtime expierence with that setup any help would be appreciated. I have skunk 2 springs and probably tockico blues, and some ebay top hats that im gonna run.

Thanks, Rich

Searching doesn't imply just hitting the 'search' button. But thanks for being one of the few to actually look at the suspension quicklinks.

Start looking at members rides. Specifically bam-bam's thread. He's had quite a few different spring setups in his car.

Springs are cheap... don't commit solely to the ones you have. Do the job right.

I just went thru the same thing with my suspension. I have Skunk2 sport springs on stock shocks in the front and it's pretty bouncy. My rear shocks that I got from an EF were blown so it was almost impossible to drive, I got some EG rear shocks that I will be installing this weekend with my rear Skunk2 sport springs. I'm riding on my Wagon OEM rear shocks right now with 91 Civic Hatchback springs= 2inch drop and a pretty comfortable ride in the rear. The front is still a little bouncy...especially with the shitty roads here. Hope this helps, I will post more as the front springs hopefully settle a bit and I re-install the rear Skunk2 springs with the EG shocks.

I'm having a hard time figuring out my suspension myself! I've had lots of car that I've lowered over the years and I've never have so much trouble! My rear shock I had purchased from an EF hatch were blown when I got them, I broke and stripped a few bolts in the suspension and now I think my front OEM struts are on the way out. The worst bad is that, just like you, I'm on a tight budget since I'm moving to the East of the country... I had no choice to do something about the suspension because my driver side front OEM spring was broken in 2 places so I had to replace it ASAP.

I'm gonna try replacing my front shocks with new one this week and if that doesn't work I'll just bite the bullet and get coilovers.
