DA OEM intake pipe fit RT wagon?

Seems like a dumb and obvious question but does anyone know if the OEM DA intake pipe will fit the A6 wagon w/out major modification?

This isn't exactly what you've asked, but I have put the DA duct on mine and rev's bswaps using the wagon airbox.

For starters, the d16a6 has a smaller throttle body inlet. that could be a problem.
  • I don't think a few mm difference would matter since there's a clamp on that end.

Yes I was planning on just swapping the pipe and keeping the wagon airbox. I found an EX sedan at the junkyard and I was going to try swapping the intake pipe, but wouldn't you know, all the DA intake pipes were gone!

I believe back in the day, I had to cut it in half and alter it that way. Which I wouldn't recommend.

You can pick up some rubber hoses (for plumbing and such) from Home Depot (or similar) for cheap and make it work.
  • Yeah it's much too long.

I was going for the OEM look. It's not a big deal, but I thought that while I'm spending so much time at the junkyards lately, if there was a bigger diameter intake pipe I could just throw on there, I might as well go for it.
