Help needed for parts, where to get, etc - '88 Wagovan

Just bought an 88 Wagovan (that's what it says on the rear bumper) of 134,000 miles which looks pretty good and my mechanic replaced belts (they were original) and plugs, etc. and really likes the car and engine. BUT there are some vent things on the dash's right and left side that do not work. The little vent flaps have no tension in them and so just stay collapsed. Are these something that can be replaced? Is there a guide, manual or something where I can find parts and numbers so that I can order things or at least look for them online?

Has anyone a source for seat covers that don't slide off when one exits the car?

  • Welcome to the site. Your best bet for finding wagon parts is to search here or your local junkyards, pick n pull. Use the search feature here. Post in the new users introduction area. Then you can access the market place for parts. Good luck
  • The vents will need to be replaced as assemblies. I think all colors have been discontinued. What color is your interior and I can check.

    :D Welcome. :D

You can use vent parts out of 88-91 Civic(Sdn,HB).
 Try ones of different colors.I did a Brown/Grey combo that looks great. Some Hondas came two toned. There's blue, grey or Brown.
