Another RT4WD header thread, I searched I promise

I just read this on the zc swap guide at 4thgenhatch.net and was wondering if anyone ever tried this setup on a RT4WD wagon and if they had any success...

-If your engine came with a stock 4-2 header, you can get a 92-95 Civic EX downpipe. It will mate up, but may hang alittle low.

I think he is saying DOHC ZC header upper and 92-95 ex lower. Was wondering if maybe the 92-95 ex was like the sohc ZC lower haydz has been recommending to make the 4-2-1 setup on RT's. The hanging a little low is what got me thinking it might fit under the transfer case.

The SOHC ZC lower piece collects much earlier than other 4-2-1 items, hence why it clears the transfer case.

I have no experience with the one you are talking about. :(

Oh okay. I haven't actually seen one to know what we are dealing with. As far as I can tell the zc headers by themselves are somewhat hard to find in the states. But I haven't been looking too hard and too long. I'm sure ex headers are much more commonly available.
