Head on a ' 87 RT

I bought this 1987 RT well over a month ago and finally got the head off just a few days ago. I was disassembling it yesterday and found some bad news when I went to take the cam pulley off. The Woodruff key was sheared off, and there is a crack running down the end of the camshaft. As you can see in the other picture it appears as if part of the camshaft was run through a lathe! Scary. Any ideas about how that may have happened? It appears that I'm now in the market for a D15A2 head with camshaft. Could anyone recommend a recycler company or know of anyone around MN with one?
