So I found a dead wagon in a local junkyard

I was very surprised to find a '90 2WD auto wagon in a local junkyard here. He has about 300 vehicles, 6 of them were Hondas.

Problem is the guy wants stupid high prices for parts. What is fair market value for the following? Trying to replace a few things in my gf's 91 DX wagon.

Drivers side door (fair condition, has horrible tint job)
Hood (bent a little on right side from impact)
Front seats (torn a little, average condition)

He wants 150 for the door, 150 for the hood, and 200 for the seats, lol.

P.S. A former vehicle of mine was there too, an '87 Teg. It finally died, lol. Still has DC sports header and browntop ZC cams in it too.

Wow, I paid 50 for my door, and got quoted 50 for the hood and 100 for front seats out of one of the wagons at my local junkyard. Dude must be smoking something......

    Wow those prices are horrible....

Not sure about the hood and the door, but our local redneck yard charges 35-50 for front seats in the yard.
  • man i wish i could get this deals, i was quoted $125 for a door
  • What gets me is he pays $50-$250 to come and get your dead or wrecked vehicle. He probably got this wago for $100. I guess you gotta pay the bills, but gees.

Wreckers in the lower mainland here are all over the place on their prices.. I was looking at some blk leather front and rear seats from a rsx and my b-inlaw works at the yard and I can get em for $200.00 I called another local yard and they wanted 1200 for the same seats
