did you figure out how to get those springs in there with out tearing the car apart, lol
that racks gonna be bad ass man cant wait to see that finished
does it ride good
HoodBridge & i didnt take it all apart ... ( used a jack & prybar to reinstall..)
as for the rear i never seperated the LCA from the strut or anything else for that matter ( i started the top hat nuts, then jacked the inner section of the lca into place, put in the bolt, then jacked the outer into place and installed that bolt )
then i removed my rear tie downs and installed the sway bar ....
it rides great to me ... has a high but stiffer ride and im still able to take the off/on ramps with speed ( and it doesnt lean as much .. as stock setup did.)
I do need to remove some tool boxes and parts i picked up from the last junk yard trip and that will allow the rear to come back up ..
Good to hear on the ride. I couldn't believe how much tearing apart and custom work 503Wagon did to get his shocks in. Maybe that's because he had an 88 definitely didn't seem necessary to me on an 89.

Scrappy is also an 88 thats the reason i had to get the lca off the integra .. ( since the sway bar was there , Hey Y NOT..)

Didn't realize that...but you just shoved the longer struts in and went about your way right? Not all the screwing around with bushings and extending things and cutting things...etc...
some people just dont think,lol
it amazed me at all the crap he took apart to put the suspension on.
mine handles a lot better then it ever did stock. i may have to try yalls rear set up on mine and see if i like it. as long as it dont sit any lower
edit:oh yea i dont know about on yalls cars but when i went to the 225/70/14 tires that are still on the back of my hatch the tires hit the bumper and the metal that was under the bumper, i know probably makes no sense ill try to find a pic to show you what i mean. i also took a sledge hammer and kinda rolled/beat my fenders out front and rear.
i lost my front bumper in a small creek it was hanging by the wires lol
this piece i remember having to beat it into the shape it has now.i think the tire hit here when it flexed.
i know the inner edge of the fender tore up the side of one of my tires the first time i flexed it. i was pissed i just put 340$ worth of tires on and messed one up in 10min.lol
i can delete the pic after you see it since this is your member ride thread just wanted to show u

I think u might sit a little higher well i did add another 2 junk yard trips to stock pile from that meet .. plus another tool box is n there ... maybe we could just meet up and swap rear struts and c what happens..

dang dude scrappy is looking awesome! you gonna cut the roof rack shorter? or add more pipe to make it look like the jeep roof cages where it goes to the fender?
as of this moment .... Scrappy is parked
I broke a stud off and the tip of another on the left rear a while back and well lets say the tip has lost a thread or 2 more since due to my unorthodox driving habits  .... and the drums r stuck on so i ordered a pair of new drums $59.99 delivered.
wondering what color to paint drums and dual piston calipers now... :?:
 lets just say the extended studs on the rear will b as soon as MAIL MAN arrives.. ohh and in tracking it....
Dont get me wrong I like driving Odie but Scrappy is a lot of fun, no worries on speed bumps or driveways ... LMAO
 Honestly ive not had time to attempt to repair the rear rust and i want a drivers front fender ( current one was rolled and on DaWedge so no inner fender liner but for my liking it must get one soon MUD is getting wedged n the front door edge and the windshield washer bottle has been caked a few times..)

Humm  dude thats a good idea ... gotta find a pic or 2 to show the guy doing the tube welding ask his thoughts..
So all you did was install the DA rear springs, struts, and lcas then install the accord front springs and struts? Anything else from 503's parts list?
Looks great BTW, can't wait to get my wagon and get it ready for some intense snow and dirt action.
Ok so I'm train jumping my way from Midas of Glen Burnie, Md to Baltimore and jumping on one headed to Washington DC then to another headed out to Vienna, Va .... Til I get back to Odie ...Dropped off Scrappy for a little more Tubular action .... 2 1/2 inch should b just about right ....
Gonna b nice for the East Coast Honda Meet ....
Replying with my BlackBerry suxx so I will post a big reply next time I'm @ a computer ..
Lift looks great! I love what you are doing with the roof rack and the safari rack. The whole time I had my wagon I really wanted a safari rack. Couple of coolers and the hard gun cases really took up space when I went camping.

I never even separated the strut from the LCA, then i reinstalled the sway bay on Scrappy also...

Thanx Man... Im thinking i need another inch of lift n the rear to match my front ..... Oh im sure i will find GREAT use for the Basket insert..
ok gang so this was my field trip ... i walked like 2 miles for the first train ride...
and i still had to add 60 cents to get out of the metro station ..
ok so 5 different trains and a few bucks just to drop off Scrappy for a little exhaust.....
ook so a little attempt on updating ....
starter went bad a while back.... got tired of clutch poppin ...
while i was getting a starter i grabbed some spray for the roof tubes..... :P
BUT....
how could i get the last 2 cans and both r bad ... ok so now Scrappy is rockin no roof rack with coolers and Off Road tire up there for the MEET viewtopic.php?f=34&t=13258
Can you set the basket up there and see how it's going to fit best on the bars? Obviously facing out gets you a little more room between the bars if you need it. Personally without the basket I definitely like facing in better just looks how they are "supposed" to be.
