Got back to work on Scrappy. I want it done for IA, ATL.

Built New Stainless Steel brake lines
    Replaced front flexlines
    Bled the brakes
    Headliner and accessories are in
Wago-Pro bars (or whatever the EF you wanna call them) installed
Really Bad-A$$ custom orange lug nuts machined and installed
Skateboard grip tape on the clutch and brake pedals to replace rubber pedal covers

    613.jpg

    614.jpg
    615.jpg

remember kids, you have to flip the Legend calipers when bleeding them for your EF...
    616.jpg

New 2nd Gen. 6061 Aluminium "Double Extended" Lug Nuts that I was able to machine to a 45 degree angle to match the seat of the Bassett Bead-Lock wheels. These are 66mm long, and just nasty. I love these... So much so, that I'm bringing the whole line on for the CTI website.
    617.jpg
    618.jpg
    614.jpg

The Skateboard grip tape is an old trick I've been using on my race cars for years... Thought it would work great for 3rd4ce's car. What with potentially having muddy, icy or wet boots when climbing into Scrappy.. It's all about grip baby! Right 3rd4ce?
    619.jpg

Amongst all the seemingly endless busy buzzing around the shop and projects...
I couldn't help but feel a sense of witnessing "wagon history" being written. Needed to just step back and take it in.
    620.jpg

Found a little home for this guy that Josh1vtm got to ride along.
    621.jpg

    Looks good.

    Looks good.

those legend calipers have been argument points about that since i put them upside down on my Odyssey back in 2007 ..... and still havent flipped them yet ...

glad them front damaged brake lines finally got replaced ...

brake and clutch peddles are very slipper when wet..!!!

hey no fair you guys washed mud off the rim and tire .... well i guess we gonna have to get it muddy again for IA..

I like the Scrappy stuffed animal riding shotgun on the Wago~Pro Bar ( might be a starting trend Rt4wd with window bars)

headliner looks nice ..... is the trunk light there with the LED there or might it be out in my garage ...

I'm just getting so tired of fixing and breaking and fixing all on a shoestring budget. I literaly and I do mean literally, have $200 every month after making house payments and other bills. Thank my wife for have a job to support herself and buy the groceries and diapers. I take care of everything else but she is there to do that. I AM keeping my car though. I have to try to make it comperable to this beast and bams giant. Na I'm happy where she is if I could just get her to purr like tiger again with out smoking. That snorkel of mine mixed with the hollowed cat going through to the vibrant exhaust sounds like a pack of sportbikes or way too many bees.

Btw Love what yall are doing keep it up. viagra ought to be sponsering your shop yall guys get them up and keep them up for the long haul. :)

So, what are the chamfered washers for?
  • ChaifeChaife Instagram grand master
I should mention that the Bassett wheels are Hub centric, not lug centric. Good to know when you throw it on a balance machine.

Glad to see the 'ol dog rollin' again. Also curious about the chamfered washer.

i placed them on the axle at the end behind hub then inserted thru the rotor trying to extend the life of the front axles and cv boots
