let me hit the junk yard and find a 90-91 wagon cluster top rounded thing ....

gonna use my dremel and then trim the 2 so i can mount them ....
i need a boost, af,volts @ dual battery isolator, oh yeah we need oil pressure ......

Ive thought of doing a pod set like my motor builder has n his BENCH WARMER as he calls it  411whp is small to him ..

all right here is a start. this is for the front control arms part#16.3103
the uppers are on top and the flare is different from one side to the other. the thinner side is to face each other or facing in. measurements are:
    a33.5mm ab34.9mm
    b19.2mm or .75"
    c36.6mm
    d8.5mm db9.4mm
    sleeve is .750"x.406"x1.486"
the lower's are four pieces. I'll start with the mushroom and then the center. specs are:
    a39.9mm
    b19.2mm or .75"
    c17.4mm
    d4.5mm
    center
    a32.5mm
    b19.2mm or .75"
    c13.9mm
    sleeve is .75"x.406"x2.038"
that is all for this bag.

now for part#16.8102 shock bushings for front lower control arm I'm not going to include the upper shock bushings as you will not see them and I don't know how to measure the angle on it. if you need it, let me know and I'll try and figure something out.
    specs are:
    a 50.5mm
    b19.2mm or .750"
    c23.5mm
    sleeve .750"x.480"x1.960"

the rears to come later or tomorrow.
  • driftin90driftin90 Senior Wagonist
sorry for the delay. I just sized up the rear arm stuff. pics will have to be later.

specs for the shock mount is

    a 47.6
    b 19.2
    c 23.9
    d 11.6
    e 37.9
sleeve is .750"x.406"x1.960" (sleeve is also the same for the rear lca

    spec for the lca

    a 40.3
    b 18.7
    c 18.5
    e 32.1

    and center pieces are

b 19.4 (different number but should be the same as above but I would use maybe the sleeve diameter for a guide)
    c 10.5
e 31.8 (again it should be the same as above. instructions say the inside diameter of the control arm is 37mm. just checked with the sleeve in it's 37.8)

I'll try and get some pics up later. if you have any questions, just pm me

ok GUYS i need your HELP......
my cam is on the way back from DELTA.....
    i did a google search :
    springs & retainers

    any opinions on :
    do i need new valves..?
    should i angle valves..?
  • turbo_tegturbo_teg Council Member
If u want to be baller yeah get valves but IMO just get a 3 angle valve job and call it good.

BTW how much u get charged to powder coat the 3 parts? and did they take the time to mask off mating surfaces and the galley that the gasket lies for the valve cover?
  • Would you mind sharing what junkyard you go to for parts? I need 2 front fenders for my wagon. I'm from Fairfax but currently in Morgantown, WV going to WVU. I need to send my brother or someone to go get me a set. I checked everything around here and none of the yards have anything.
