Skunk2 Pro-s coilovers on 89 wagon

Hey guys, I'm new to the board and i just bought a 89' wagon last week. Anyways im wanting to lower it and i was looking into the skunk2 pro-s full coilovers. On their website it says that i would have to buy the rear lcas also. I was wondering if i could use the stock lcas. I searched around some but could never find any definite answers. Any help would be greatly appreciated guys thanks.

I'm pretty sure you just need to stay year specific. Because the control arms are different by year (not sure on which years are which, but I know my 88 and 91's are different... so I'll be buying 88 specific).

1989 through 1995 all Civics had the same style rear LCA (except for sway bar provisions), and all can use pretty much any aftermarket rear shock that is meant for 1989-1995 Civic and 1990-2001 Integra (except ITR).

1988 Civics (all of them) have the same style LCA as the ITR, and can use the same style of rear shocks.

I'm not sure why Skunk2 would specify that you need to buy their LCAs to go with their shocks. I don't actually see it on their website.

and if you did have an 88 and bought 89up shocks you could get any lower arm of a 89up civic and it will work on your 88.

This is only true for USDM Hondas. The JDM Hondas used the same LCA through the range (the "ITR style").
