Driving short distance with no pcv tube?

I tore off my pvc tube the other day.. and im going to be putting a new one on.. i was wondering if there is any harm in driving it about 7 miles so where i have a hoist to put it up on too do it ? Thanks for any input

    did you block it off or something ? or just running with the open hole on the black box where it went into ?

    It will run fine as long as you plug the big vacuum hose going to the intake. If it's broken below the PCV valve you should be fine. The crank fumes/oil/blowby will just vent to the atmosphere

    think it would work to put the new PCV valve in the hose comming from the intake then zip tie it into the hole where the hose will go untill i get to the shop to put the new hose on ?

    I would let the breather vent to the atmosphere, but would plug the hose going into the manifold.
    Mine is running high idle with the pcv valve running wide opened. It's making the car run rich also.
