The only problem I see with a wheel spacer stud design is the amount of material it would take to do a 2" lift. A 2" thick piece of aluminum wouldn't be cheap. And I'm still working on other designes for the rear. The wheel spacer design would be ideal for maybe 1" or less but I can't build my design any shorter than 2".

I may be interested too, if you produce some fronts. I have a related question: How high do you guys think we can go before encountering axle-length problems? I want to go up as far as I can- permanently.

^^^ Me too, I was going to go a different route, but I want to see the way this sits and I am curious of any camber issues...

I would love to get 2 possibly 3 inches higher...

Bam, whats up with the name color change?

The front 2 worked perfectly. A little tight to get in though. Haven't tested the backs yet.

How much did it raise it?
  • stampernstampern Senior Wagonist
I had skunk2 coilovers on it, so it didn't raise it like stock. I need somebody with stock suspension to test them out. :)

Boo for adding extra unsprung weight. I like the spacer on top of the tophat. Makes more sense.

I'm working on another design as well that might work better. We'll see.

For the Rear lift, i would think about welding tabs just wide enough for the ears to sit next to so it dont have a way to pivot in two places.
