Soo...ishort story woke up this morning put oil in my car drove 110 miles got off freeway and idle out of no were is rouch and jumpy. And it sounds like its almost misfiring.
Has anyone had this problrm before ?
Also when you drive the car is like normal it only happens at idle like at a stop light or traffic.

so they took the VC off and found that the spark plug o ring gaskets are leaking oil into the spark plugs and causing it to misfire. so i went and bought a new gasket set and real spark plugs tongiht non of that autolite bullshit my moms boyfriend did when he tuned up my car without permission !
keep in mind this guy re did my brakes too and bolts fell out while i was driving and caused my brakes to wobble real bad and i could barley slow down ! ( he works for JFC racing building racecars ) how can you fuck things up this bad !
any thoughts guys ?
This sounds crazy but it's an easy way to see which cylinder (if any) are misfiring at idle.
With the engine running at idle simply take a pair of insulated handled pliers (preferably the needle nosed/bent nosed ones) and pull off one plug wire (at the spark plug hole/cylinder end, not the cap) at a time, and see which one the idle is not affected by. If each one of them being pulled causes the engine to idle much lower and/or shut off, and they all do it the same then you don't have one particular cylinder misfiring. It could be a general issue such as fuel pressure, spark delivery as in distributor, coil, ignitor, rotor button, etc.
If one particular cylinder has little/no effect on the idle quality then that cylinder is dead. This would limit the causes to a bad plug wire on that cylinder, a bad spark plug (which is easy enough to verify - move the plug and if the misfire follows it you've got a bad plug), or worst of all, low/no compression on that cylinder. If it's a multi-point fuel injection set-up then that cylinder's injector might be bad if it's got spark and good compression.
BTW:
Has your check engine light come on since this issue arose? Does your check engine light bulb work?
also pulled off the plugs one by one while running...each one made the motor run even worse so im sure there all firing...
so i have no clue whats going on...
also drove all the way home today another 110 mile trip...drive fine the whole way as soon as i got off the freeway and into town and stuck in traffic idle still messed up...
I sure hope this isn't your problem, it sucked for me.
when i pull the spark plug wires out one by one while running, there second one from the left ( dizzy side ) cant remember what number that actually is...it only effects it a tiny tiny bit...but when i pull all the others it effect it tremendously.
will do a comp. test tomorrow and see whats up...im running out of ideas except the valve job because i dont know nor trust myself to do it...ive only supervised a VJ once and my buddy did it kinda quick...
mang...
