Requesting Door Visors From Weathertech.com -

I was doing some research and I couldn't find any visors that fit like OEM. So my I was flipping through Car and Driver and found a vendor called "WeatherTech"
I was checking out their visors and sure enough they don't use any kind of double sided tape.
So called them up and the representative said that they don't make them but they could if there was enough demand for them. "How much demand?" I asked...and she said well if there are enough people that request it I am sure it will be considered and that alot of car enthusiasts petition for specially requested products. We get a couple of requests now and then but not enough to get things moving because we mass produce them.
They have a request page

I think it's worth a shot, and it'd be nice to finally get some clean visors that don't require double sided tape and don't cost $200! So put if you got a minute, put in a request for some "side window deflectors." In my request I asked for all versions of the 88-91 Civic, CRX and Wagon.
So take a minute and fill out the request form. :!: Hopefully we can make something happen.

I find those crappy ventshade visors on ebay all day long and I owned a no name brand of visors for my hatch for a short while but they too required double sided tape and it just looked cheap..
I think as long as we keep asking for them them they'll eventually listen to the community. So I want the community to stay on top of this. Even if it's just sending a random request or even calling every once in a while. I am not saying spam the shit out of them, but make genuine requests. With all the time spent and wasted here maybe taking a minute to fill out the request form or call may help.
We got nothing to lose.
And if you know of other EF forums, feel free to copy the info and spread the word.
Not that it matters here, but I just learned that all 88-89 model hatch backs(not wagons)have pillar mounted belts. All 88 CRX's and the 89 HF have pillar mounted belts as well.
Interesting
My wife called them and spoke to a rep, and apparently the requests are getting some attention.
The rep mentioned that there have been alot of requests lately for Honda visors(I am assuming it's because of the EF's?)
C'mon fellas, keep it up! Gonna bump this thread once, maybe twice a week to keep it alive and to keep the requests flowing.
Keep 'em comin' guys!
If you got friends and relatives that can help out, by all means get them to submit a request as well!
thanks alot fellas
"Real ones are better" ? :P
