91 wagon RT4WD to FWD ?'s

Okay, so what I'm doing is swapping out a standard RT4wd wagon to FWD only. I'm taking all the 4wd stuff out. I'm taking a complete running swap out of a CRX Si and I'm installing it into the wagon. Is there anything that I should be looking for that will give me problems? Both cars are 91, the wagon was auto but was swapped over to standard by the previous owner. I already swapped out the rear suspension with a FWD wagon rear suspension, took out all the RWD stuff (PITA IMO). The plan is to take everything out of the REX and install it into the wagon, the motor, tranny, shift linkage, engine harness and the ecu. I have not even looked at what ECU the wagon has in it.

One question that I have been thinking is, Will the engine harness from the CRX just plug and play into the wagons plugs? It was 4WD and auto and now were swapping 2WD standard. I guess we'll see.

Also another question, passenger side tranny mount. will the one out of the CRX work or will the one from the wagon work?
I remember reading something about the passenger side mount but I can't remember if it was for the same application, that is why I'm asking this question.

I have not gotten that far as to even mock it up or anything, I have tried searching but was not able to find any answers.
I did find this - viewtopic.php?f=7&t=6540&start=0&hilit=4wd+to+2wd+mounts

I'm doing this tomorrow, I'll take the camera and post pics of the wagon and CRX and keep you guys updated on the progress.

If the previous owner changed the chassis mount on the passenger side to the correct one for the RT4WD manual tranny, you will need to change it back, or adapt some sort of spacer. The proper Wagon RT4WD Manual transmission mount is different from all the rest (Auto 4wd, Auto FWD, Manual FWD). If the previous owner made up an adapter of some sort to keep the Auto mount, then you should be golden.

You'll need to open up a hole on the tunnel for the shifter linkage to poke through from the bottom of the car, and fab up some sort of bolt-ins for the shifter. Nothing complicated there.

On another note, are you interested in selling me your shifter assembly and shifter cables?

may have sold the tranny and shifter cables already.i think that may be part of the problem, he didn't finish it. I picked it up as an unfinished project. I don't know what to do about the mount. It was Auto 4wd but he never finished installing the manual 4wd tranny.
