What's the best mod you've done to your wagon?

What's the best mod you've done to your wagon? Restoration, or upgrading parts; either way what made you the happiest afterwards and over time?

I've been thinking and it's tough competition between my newly swapped D16A6 and the integra fat fives. I'm gunna say fat fives for the win though! Having that much more tire really increases the potential of the car exponentially.

what about you guys?

so far for me it'd have to be my rear speaker pods and headliner
slowly but surely my wagon is coming together

I would have to say the LS/VTEC conversion w/hydraulic transmission. Can't go wrong with some extra horsepower and torque.
As an added bonus, it makes for great fun at the track as well! :D

Haven't done a hell of a lot yet. I'd say the rear JDM interior is the best mod so far. It's been incredibly useful.

I have done nothing for my little wagon unfortunately. I have washed it and sprayed away some of the rust haha. The best mod i have done was taking oozing sludge out of the engine and putting fresh oil in.

I'd probably have to say my hitch/trailer is the best mod I've done to my wagon.
  • Paint. Paint and the front windshield. I always hated coming out and seeing her looking like a beater; now I fall in love again every time I open the garage door. Not to mention the peace of mind knowing I have no more rust. Definitely paint.

It's a toss up between the B18B engine/tranny swap and the Eibach/KW Pro Street full threaded body coilovers.

I can't imagine the wagon without the power, but it would also suck if it was either stock height and rode mushy, or was lowered and rode like crap.
  • My JDM Leather wheel,nice.........
  • I don't have a camera to shoot pics... But it's a toss up between cutting coils on front springs and mounting 3" lowering blocks to lay my wagon out nice, my 5 pannel rear view mirror(swiped it off a junk golf cart), or hard mounting all shift linkages(could not find new bushings) and cutting 2" off my shifter on my 81 civic wagon....

I'd just love a set of those in any condition. They were not an option in the UK and I love them. So expensive to get them shipped tho.

Hakkapelita 5 studded tires. With them I can outlap the subbies sti on the ice.
And my 60$ paint was a good improvment too, same for the integra GS wheels (for 60$ too).
