  • I have EF Type 1's on one of my wagons. I thought they rode a little better than your typical sleeve type coil over but still kind of soft. I was previously running Skunk2 EF sleeve coilovers w/Tokico blue shocks. The advantage of the Funtion/form is that you can lower the car pretty low without bottoming out the shock. After replacing the cars bushings with Energy Suspension parts, the Function/forms felt alot better(firmer). The only thing that kind of bothered me is that with front and rear camber kits installed, I couldn't lower the car as low as I wanted before maxing out the lowest height adjustment on the shock. I also have a set of Type 1's on my EF hatch and noticed that you could really slam the back but the front will not adjust as low as the front. My friend has had Type 1's and Type 2's on an EG and DC2. You can really slam the crap out of those car with these coilovers and still get a great ride.
  • thank you, thats what i was looking for.
