Spring Question? (Has not been posted need help)

Hey guys I have searched through all the suspension stickeys and have not found this. What other springs can you use to give you stock height back? Because the only place I found so far is Honda Dealer and they want 88 Dollars a peice for front coil springs so I was curious if there is another option or if there is an online site that sells them. Sorry guys if this has been posted but I searched and nothing popped up

Alright guys actually found my answer for any of you wanting to go back to stock height you have to purchase the Same year EX model springs they are like 20lbs difference then the 2wd Wagons so they work perfect

    You're half right. :?
Even if you use a different year it's not going to make much difference .If it did make a difference it would be within factory specs. At most a 1/4-1/2" deviation.Think about it.All the Civics(88-91) front half are all about the same weight. Most all the weight increase is on the rear half.Even if you used the lightest rear spring on the heaviest Civic it may help cause it may level the height out.If you haven't notice Civics tend to ride higher in the rear.

The EX Spring Prob:I think EX was only available in 90-91 & pretty RARE.If you do find one make sure to get the front knuckles (big brake) & MC.

If you still want to go down this road, then get the 90-91 CRX Si or Sdn springs. These are stiffer or used on heavier Civic's(closer to Wgn. weights). If you're doing rear springs to don't forget the rear shx(covered in lower link).

Other options:Cut DA springs covered in the lower link you've read:

Just cut less coils to get the stock height you want. The easiest springs to find.

 This ones is probably rare too.Look into TEIN Springs. They made a street spring that was 1/2-1"(12-25mm) lowered, but I think stiffer. They were made about 5 years ago,but are discontinued. They even gave it a series name.
