  • sorry about the accident man...wish it was fixable man. i'd love to pick it up and fix it up
  • Nardio,
The car is fixable. I don't even think the title will be salvaged since I'm buying it back. Not really sure how that works. PM me if you want details.

For anyone else following this the insurance guy called today and offered me $2200 and I'm able to keep the car. I thought that was a fair price.

Check with the insurance guy on that but, in MN if they payout over 75% of the value of the car, its a salvage title.

Yeah, He said I could keep it and fix it. It looked fixable to him. I think it's 85% in ohio.

sounds like everything worked out as best it could. now you gotta search for another one. for that payout price, you should be able to find a decent 4wd. or a cheaper 2wd that you can dump some money into. i just google maps'd Ohio to make sure it was where i thought it was, you really couldn't be further from 'wagon country'. saddle up and head west partner. *spit* *ting*

Picked up a 92 four door for now. I traveled 13hrs for this last one and don't really want to do that again. I'll keep my eye out for one locally. I do love the wagons though. Next one I pick up won't need as much work as this one did. Don't get me wrong I'm ok with every penny I spent on it. Looks like they deleted my part out thread due to no pics. I'll get another one up here soon. I'm supposed to be getting the car back today or tomorrow according to the insurance man.
    Sent you a PM!

    PM returned skribbles
