Front Window Tracks Replacements

Hello Everyone

My driver's side and passenger side window tracks are shot to the point where i can put my windows up and down with my hand, are these hard to find? Are they interchangeable with other Honda's? if so does anyone have a diagram of them or maybe a parts manual showing these parts? thank you for the help.

  • Do you mean the window regulators? It's the "elevator" type mechanism that looks like a giant pair of scissors that raises and lowers the glass when you crank the window handle. If that's what you're talking about, I know the two front window regulators are wagon specific. You can try the junkyard as well for these. I bought both front regulators new from the dealer for my wagon and they were something like 65 bucks each.
  • i guess they would be the regulators but they aren't electric, if that's the case then that's not too bad a price for them. Thank you for the response.
*I did a little bit more research in regards to these parts and The parts I need would be the actuators and the window guides, now that i know the actuators are Wago specific, would the guides be wago specific also? Wouldn't we be able to use sedan guides? If anyone has any more input i would greatly appreciate it.
  • Not sure on the guides. What I always do in a case like this is try swapping the different parts when I am at the junkyards on the different models and see what fits. Or you can go to an online parts catalog and see if the parts in question share the same part number between the different models.

The prob may not be the tracks.A fix for ur window :
Do a search under ,Window Crank Problem or syringe(strange ,but works).
This will help a lot & buy u time to find a parts.I recommend doing this procedure before the crank wears out too.

Also read the thread on a member that did power window conversion using sdn. parts. That may help.It was a pretty new thread.
