cheap rear brake components at Rock Auto. no affiliation

I do not work for RockAuto nor have any affiliation with them.

I was searching local canadian parts sites for rear brake components coming up short. went to US based RockAuto and got some INSANE prices.

new rear shoes. $4.92... uh huh i'll take it
rear shoe hardware kit. $5.22... done.
parking brake cables $15right side/$18left side. compared to the usual $40+ per side i usually see.

    This place rocks(no pun intended) :!: Last year I pick-up a New dizzy for $85.It cost $8O just for the ignitor from Honda.Screw the junkyard I got a New MC for about $15-$25.

    Some HCW member suggested this site to us years ago.You got to check this site every once in a while.They have blow-out sales kind of like the K-mart Blue lite sales.Those brake shoes have been on sale for about 7 months.

    Great prices but they screw us military guys on shipping! Autozone has higher prices but they offer free shipping to the troops. Ends up being cheaper with Autozone. Now if Rockauto had free shipping :twisted:

    Timing is everything. After a nice cruise in the wagon today, my rear drums are grinding. Thanks to this heads up, I'll have a project for the weekend...also took the opportunity to get replacement tailgate struts for the wagon and CRX.

    Hey dudes.Check the site.I just got a email about a Civic Wagon parts blow-out.Is u peeps needs parts nows the time to get them.I saw igintors for $40 & rear cv boots fo $10,etc.

    Just make sure you add up the shipping difference compared to napa. Some of their stuff pulls from difference warehouses, so it adds up if you're not careful.

    let's put it this way, i order from them and i am in canada. shipping was more than the order amount was and it's still about half the price of anything local!

    got my cheap parts, now i just need to wait for snow to melt so i can get out there any work on it.
