As another suggestion, you could just buy the JDM/EDM clear corners... places like ebay are rather expensive but random wrecker yards from New Zealand, Australia, England and many other places will have these items cheap as chips..
There is more lens material on the 88-89 sides. You will notice once you separate both that you will have to shave back some of the clear lens to match the 90-91 housing. Then, you may also have to fill in the 1 screw hole with some clear silicone
sorry, I didn't see the post till today. If I could do it I'd go Pacifier's route but I had the spare parts so I cut them up  I was bored one day
anywho, don't think they will be like the most awesome corners in the world, they are homemade
but they pass in the looks dept
heres a more recent shot of mine. If you look close you will see where I filled the screw hole. Mine looks like it may have some condensation in it but its 3 years old
I didn't seal it that well when I first did it but if sealed correctly they will hold.
As far as grinding the lens I used a bench grinder & re-fit the lens everytime I would grind I would compare the lens to the housing for fitment.
im curious to how you seperated the lenses from the housings without breaking them, any tips for doing that? also im having a hard time finding the clear corners for the 88-89 civic. any input would be greatly appreciated.
Arent the CRX corners a lot closer to fitting? They at lest have the same shape for the fender, but they are too long. Mabie get the 90-91 CRX lenses and shave them down. That way you wouldnt have the hole to fill. Just a thought, havent treid anything yet.

Same question from me... how did you separate the lenses without breaking them??
Cheers !!
