No travel need help!

Okay guys so I wanted to ask a question about the shock travel that our wagons have when drop pretty low. I bought the Konii yellow and groundcontrol coilovers brand new about a month ago. Is it normal for the wagons to be bottomed out in the back because the shock tower is low or is it just a problem that have? I wasted alot of money and it feels like it wasn't worth it. Please help me.

  • Did you cut the bumpstops in half when you installed the struts?
  • Bumpstops, and have a look at extended top hats (there's plenty of threads in here about that).

Are you running koni yellows & the coilovers in the rear?

Yeah I cut the bumpstops in half and yeah I have the
koni and ground control all around the car. And about
the top hats where can I find them, I looked for threads
about this and I couldn't find any but if you can help me
out that will be great because I need my car to start riding
    good.

I believe Ground Control makes extended tophats, but they'll be expensive. Just get someone local to weld some up for you.

Yeah Thanks bro I found some for not that much in Weaksauceparts.com with bushings and bumpstops for 120 j think I'm going to just buy them.
  • How much of a drop are you running on the GCs?

In the front I'm tucking the tire and in the back it's about to start tucking. Don't know the exact inches but it's pretty droped but the back I can't slam because when I drop the coil to the bottom it's just bottomed out sitting on the bumpstops.
  • OK, Thanks. I plan on getting springs for mine but I am not going that low. I don't think I will have this problem.
