VTech swap help!

I have an 89' Civic AWD Wagon, the motor (1.6l) that is currently in it has lost it's pep due to the previous owner who thought he could be the next Tanner Foust. So what i am looking into doing is a VTech motor swap WITH a turbo. Also im looking at putting in a 5spd transmission cause the automatic just is not fun. Could anybody point me in the right direction of a VTech that would properly fit my car. Thank You!

Lots of stuff available on the site for info.. Go with a Z6 for a easy vtec swap.. To swap to a standard u need pedal assy/shifter/cables also need to swap(weld) the transmission mount.. The wheels are Oem crx (87 si)

Welcome. I see you've bought white&nerdy's old wagon! Glad you found us.

D16Z6. There are 2 currently active build threads with SOHC VTEC turbos. Check 'em out.

But seriously, read up on vtec (notice there is no H?). You don't need vtec for the cool factor of stating you own a car with vtec(H) in it. You can accomplish a lot with a regular non-vtec motor.

Yes i did buy White&Nerdy's ride! I do like it a lot. I picked up on the youtube video Wagon Attack 2. I'll post the URL if any of you guys want. But I want to do a total overhaul with my car. I had another question too, would it be a bad idea to pick up a Turbo out of a wreck ex. my local junkyard i think has a few kicking around. Cause there is no way at 16 years old im going to be able to drop 2-5k on a full blown HKS system.
