I couldn't agree with you more. My baby needs more than a wash - I need some paint! lol

I went back and dug up the original thread for some true "before" pics. I didn't realize we only had it 6 weeks before the trade!

For those of you who don't know, pebbles' wagon used to belong to lil' ghost, and vice versa.

I figured you had a thread. I had to do some searchin'! lol

Oh the wagon family - I love it! :D

Wow those tuck up nice, even my sump sits lower than that, I think its only a matter of time before my OEM DC2 headers wear through :?

Got my baby slammed today! Thanks to Josh and a friend, who helped me out. Lemme know what y'all think!

    ::Warning: Lots of pictures!::

Stock height - with coke cans as a reference.

    Stock springs

Front lowered. Springs aren't settled yet.
    153.jpg

    Front lowered, rear not lowered.
    154.jpg

So, when Josh lowered his, he slammed the rear down and still had some gap ... I did not! We didn't really think about the stock shocks making it so much lower.

We had to raise it up some cause my muffler was ON THE GROUND!

Of course we drove it around some to get the springs to settle. Stopped and took some pics in the neighborhood. IMO - shit is HOTTTT!

I've got plans, but some things I've got to wait until I gots more $$, lol.

A few things I want to do still, and at least before IA in TN: Paint my trim/bumpers [did that yesterday, I'll post pics in a bit], obd1 conversion, new front shocks and 90-91 wagon rear shocks [so I can put my purple LCA's on]and tint, get my clear corners on/side markers/and possibly clear bumper lenses, if I can get them. That's the stuff I really want to get done at least. But I've got other things in mind: teg seats, different steering wheel [not sure on a brand yet], paint [w/ paint match bumpers], possibly a short shifter, hella expensive, but I want a damn sunroof, LOL. This is off the top of my head, I've got more things I want to do, but this is kinda long already. Only so much I can do at certain times. :)

    :o
    that looks awesome....
what did you use was it a spray can or something u brushed on.....
  • Finally slammed and looks great :) . Nice job on the bumpers and trim .
  • sometimesidosometimesido New Wagonist
was it some kind of trim paint? it looks great!
  • lil'ghostlil'ghost Council Member
Yeah, just some black Dupli-Color Trim Paint. 1 can for everything - put 2 coats on. It helped a lot ... seemed to even make my paint stand out more. :D
