Coil-over help

Ok jsut scored some universal maxspeed coilovers today...however the papaer said that it does not fit the wagon.....when I asked why they said the suspension is completely different......now I am confused a civic is a civic right....ok so what kinda gas shocks and what year do I order for my wagon...please any help would be greatly appreciated...thanks
