First of all, where are you located? What kind of wheels? You can check DiamondRacingWheels.com they do some of what you are looking for.

    No. Ask Wagodizzle or TIMELESSWHITE.
  • Wasn't northwestwarwagon (or something like that) doing these?

Hah i read that as 'Mrwagovan'. Don't post when you're drunk kids.

Wagodizzle got his from nw_war_wagon I believe. Plus I don't think (nw_war-wagon) has been on the forums much, if any, since he sold his wagon.
  • Find a place that does rim restoration or repair. Widening the wheels is a fairly simple process, the center is cut out and welded into a new "barrel". Harry (northwest_war_wagon) and I had a line on doing these through a friend of his, I was the finance part of it. No money in it really so we stopped doing it.

My suggestion is to find a place that does rim repairs on steel rims as well as aluminium.

My suggestion would be to find a hot rod shop. Lots of old school fabricators in that part of the car hobby. Might also find some circletrack guys who could steer you in the right direction. You could also just call some machine shops in your area- they might know of someone. If you had the time, etc., etc., you could learn how to do it yourself- its not too difficult, and with metalworking skills you could say "Yeah, I did it myself". Just some ideas.

Poster requested finding someone local. That's why I suggested a rod shop, but if you can't find help locally, try Gary Mclean at RallyAmerica.com - Much nicer people to deal with than Stockton Wheel, according to folks on H.A.M.B.
